International WoodFuels' mission is to dramatically reduce fossil fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions through the conversion of schools, colleges, commercial, state, and institutional properties to a locally-sourced, renewable, and inexpensive source of thermal and process energy. From forest, to manufacturing, to our customers' facilities, the WoodFuels Green Path Solution delivers a truly community-based, carbon-neutral service while supporting local, long-term economic development through job creation with certified loggers and foresters, and within each Community Energy Facility.

There are several key factors to remember when considering the environmental advantages of WoodFuels Renewable Energy Program:

• WoodFuels has SURETY OF FUEL SOURCE. WoodFuels owns its pellet production capacity and thus guarantees pellet supply.
• Demonstrating our corporate values through our purchasing decisions, WoodFuels enters into long-term purchase agreements only with regionally-based forest managers, whose forests have been certified as well managed under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or, on an interim basis, whose forest management practices are confirmed to meet WoodFuels' stewardship procurement guidelines. Additionally, WoodFuels utilizes raw material sources that are confirmed to be post-industrial reclaimed such as sawmill residuals.
• WoodFuels manufactures additive-free pellets, creating the most energy efficient wood pellet and lowering the environmental impact from the burning process.
• WoodFuels purchases its logs, manufactures its pellets and delivers its renewable energy within an approximate 200 mile radius - lowering the gross carbon footprint the entire process leaves on the region.
• WoodFuels provides carbon neutral, renewable energy for thermal heating and co-fire programs.
• WoodFuels' Green Energy Solutions will reduce the region's dependence on fossil fuel sources, while increasing the need for locally sourced energy.
